In 2004 California Crane School/American Crane School was the first in the nation to offer a turn-key all inclusive NCCCO crane operator certification course. Prior to The California innovations a student would need to wait for the results of their written exams before they could even take their practical exams, However through the collaboration with the NCCCO we’ve worked together to change this requirement and became the first to make the certification process streamlined.

Through American Crane school’s initiative they were also responsible for training the first Candidate to pass the NCCCO CBT Computer Based Testing exams. American Crane School also pioneered many of the Tablet Based Testing™ methods used by the crane operator certification industry today.
