CHALLENGE:
In 2008 OSHA passed regulations requiring crane operator certification for employees working in the power delivery industry. Northwest Lineman College (an accredited education institution through the department of education) approached California Crane School to develop an advanced elective course at their college where students would exceed 75% pass rates.
SOLUTION:
California Crane School rapidly assisted Northwest Lineman College by developing a strategic curriculum and training format to maximize the amount of training required to get students from novices to knowledgeable crane operators in just six days.
OUTCOME:
California Crane School not only accomplished the goal but exceeded it by consistently achieving high pass rates on written exams. Due to the success of this program, California Crane School was selected to continue training on various other initiatives over the course of 10+ years, including the opportunity to deliver our course across all NLC campuses where we have maintained our high pass rates.
